Main
Image – By putting a young teenage girl on the front cover, it
helps the target audience (the school students) to help relate to her as its someone who they recognised. Using a pretty female on the cover has similarities to the national magazines as this is a technique they use to help sell their magazines, placing a female so that younger people want to be like her and aspire to be her in the future. It seems to appeal to both genders.
Main
Title – The use of the master head named after the school makes it clear and recognisable to the students. It's subtle yet the use of having a different font to the rest of the cover helps it to appear more enticing.
Cover
Lines – These specific cover lines already are
keeping you up to date, notifying the audience how there is a “graduation
ceremony.” By placing important and informative statements on the front cover
it suggests that its information that the reader needs to see, therefore they
are interested to find out more, it seems that the magazine doesn’t give too
much detailing away, keeping the reader needing to read further. The cover lines however are not place in the left third making them not the specific vocal point of the cover.
Images
– The smaller images means that the rest of the
school are involved into the magazine. It is showing of the achievement all around school and showcasing what they have done and where they have been. Being in the left third it suggests that its what the school want people to notice, how they do offer different experiences to the pupils.
