There many different types of styles and genres in music. they explore a range of emotions that people are feeling at different times.

One of my favourite genres in music are pop and R&B, this is because it covers a variety of sounds and rhythms. It seems like no matter how many times you listen to a song in this area, it never gets boring. Some of my favourite songs are "Happy" by Pharrell Williams, this song was released on November 21st, 2013, and is still in the top 40s today. It just shows how timeless music can come from pop. Another one of my favourites is "Crazy in Love" by Beyoncé. Everyone knows this song no matter what age or generation you come from. Again its just timeless.
